Founded in 1981 by Marie Meunier and John Bouchard, two leading alpinists and mountaineers, Wild Things has since become the label of choice for those who require mil-spec toughness for demanding environments. Drawing on personal experience (Marie was the first woman to summit Mount Aconcagua, one of the highest peaks in the Andes), Wild Things quickly became a leader in ultra-light, ultra-tough clothing, pushing the envelope by using revolutionary new materials.

As a result, Wild Things soon caught the attention of the US military, including numerous Special Operations units, who partnered with Wild Things to create custom, bespoke clothing to their exacting standards. Today, Wild Things’ products are in use with every branch of the US military, and have been popular with a number of law enforcement units as well.
